Servizio Volontario Europeo in Romania

l'associaizone Millenium Center, in Romania cerca volontari per 1 progetto di Servizio Volontario Europeo: RO-2008-26. Le attività inizieranno il 1 Giugno 2009. Il progetto ha una durata di 4/12 mesi.

In sintesi le attività del progetto:
Then together with the local volunteers you will create documentaries about daily life in rural areas, about myths, legends, local customs and traditions. During the stage period you will participate in the public life of the community, will take interviews and facilitated discussions. You will monthly organise public shows of the materials created, and at the end you will realize a public presentation of the documentary, together with a written publication consisting of images commented from the life of hosting community. Together with the local volunteers you will identify into the communities you will activate those informing needs among youth, but not only, regarding various opportunities of both personal and professional development, youth camps, youth exchanges, summer, spring and winter schools, grants, etc. in the framework of diverse local, regional, national or international projects. Under the bases of identified needs and priorities, you will participate at the actual gathering of those materials and will create a newsletter will be distributed into the community, for free. The next step will focus on the assistance given to the interested youth that wish to take part but which does not know how to write for themselves a CV, a motivational letter, how to effectively search for information or how to express themselves in a foreign language, for example. Once used with a system of searching over information and with these opportunities in the area, the young people from the communities will have more chances to develop themselves personally and professionally. "
Then together with the local volunteers you will ident i f y those needed interventions that can rise the trustworthy level in the neighbours, the commu n i c a t i o n level between them as well as can reduce conflicts resolutions. In this way, together with the local partners, public institutions and economical

agents, you will contribute to the creation, personalization, maintenance of common spaces such as:

parks, place agreements for kids, areas near some small rivers. Moreover, together with the local volunteers you will come with own initiatives throughout which the locals will be more aware of the important values of respect towards the public domaine as well as towards the others."
